Participants should arrive at the campsite on 24th April 2009,
one day before the Opening ceremony and depart on 1st May 2009

Theme:
“Moral and Friendship”

Venue:
Trang National Scout Camp or “Thai Chalerm Prakiat Scout Camp” about 828 kilometres from Bangkok.


Camp Fee:
US$ 100 per person (both Scout and leader)
The fee will cover all meals during camp (from dinner of 24th April 2009 to
Breakfast of 1st May 2009), tent accommodation, activities programme,
Jamboree souvenirs, Insurance and transportation (from Krabi Airport,
Phuket Airport, Trang Bus Terminal or Trang train Termina)


Transportation:
Transportation will be arranged from Trang, Phuket or Krabi airport to
campsite and also from Trang railway station and Trang bus terminal.

How to reach Trang:

By Air :
There are direct flights from your country to Phuket and the transportation
to pick up from the airport to campsite will be organized .

From Bangkok:
to Krabi and transportation will be arranged to pick up to
campsite.

By train From Bangkok:
Rapid or Express trains from Bangkok Railway Station
(Hua Lampong) to Trang are available daily at 5.05 p.m. and 6.20 p.m.
The trip takes about 15 hours.

By bus From Bangkok:
Air conditioned buses from Southern Bus Terminal to Trang
are available everyday. The trip takes about 12 hours.

What you should bring:
Participants should bring personal camping equipment, including sleeping bag,
meals kits, cutlery, flashlight, raincoat etc. Please do not forget to bring
your national flag and national costume for international programme.

2) Estonian International scout Jamboree "Tähemets"

11th - 18th July 2009
Estonia

Estonian Scout Association (ESA) and Estonian Guide Association (EGA) traditional international jamboree,
named "Tähemets" – „The Star Forest“,
is held in summer in Tagametsa, Estonia.

There are so many stars in the sky as there are trees in a forest or even more. In this jamboree we are going to explore what happens beyond the clouds in the forest of stars.

We are expecting more than 1000 scouts from all over there world to join this wonderful camp.

The camp-site is ESA's and EGA’s permanent camping area in a beautiful forest by a river.

( http://maps.google.com).

We are inviting groups of up to 15 scouts/guides aged 16+ with their leaders 18+ and individuals aged 18+.

Registration is opened until 23rd of April 2009.

Cost: 125 € (includes registration fee and participation fee, food and activities; excludes travel to Estonia and transport from capital Tallinn to the camp-site).

3) 26th Asia Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree, 2009

Theme: Together We Can

When: August 3-8th, 2009

Where: The International Children’s Center “Nairamdal” of Mongolia. About 35 kilometers north-west from Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia

Who: The Jamboree is open to both boy and girl scouts and girl guides who are at least 12 years old and adult leaders who are registered as member of their National Scout /Guide Organization.


International Service Team: The Jamboree will have a total of over 100 Scout Leaders working on the International Service Team (IST). Interested and qualified Scout Leaders are welcome to be part of the IST. A registration fee of US $160 shall be charged each member to cover the cost of meals, souvenir items and other issuances, and transportation from the airport to camp and back.

Home hospitality: After and before the Jamboree, Scouts from overseas will be offered Home Hospitality for up to 2-3 days in the families of Mongolian Scouts. Exact dates can be arranged to suit travel arrangements.

Personal equipment: Usually personal kits including tent, sleeping bag, and rain wear, camping gear and eating utensils, and other personal items are the responsibilities of each participants. You will need summer clothes, but due to the variability of the weather you should bring some warm clothing as precaution.

Food: Food will be serving to each troop. Meat is found in all Mongolian meals, usually with noodles, rice and soup. Please let us know if any members of your contingent are vegetarians or have dietary requirements at your registration.

Payment: The fee for participant is US$ 200, which covers food, souvenirs, inland transportation and insurance.

Overseas contingents are encouraged to pay the Jamboree fee to the Scout Association of Mongolia not later then 1 June 2009.
Payment discount:
There are two options for jamboree fee payment.
1. If you pay before 1 February then Jamboree fee will be 160 USD
2. If you pay before 1 April then Jamboree fee will be 180 USD.

Traveling to Mongolia: You will arrive in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia by direct flight from Berlin (Germany), Moscow (Russia), Seoul (Korea), Osaka and Tokyo (Japan), and Beijing (China) and train from Moscow (Trans Siberian Train) and Beijing.


Visa: All participants should obtain an entry visa before traveling to Mongolia from the Mongolian Embassy or Consulate in most capital cities. Visas may also be obtained upon arrival at the Mongolian border or internetional airport. The Scout Association of Mongolia will provide invitation letter.
